Default TT saves my a$$

This actually happened a couple of months ago, but I thought I would share. I was coming home from work one night and I was getting on the ramp between spur 408 and I-20 eastbound. I'm just cruising on my merry way at about 60 and start coming over thishill that you have to go up right before you start getting onto I-20. So i'm going over the hill and down towards the bottom and see a posCRX hatchback just sitting there holding his brakes on the shoulder of the onramp stopped completely. Guy and a girl in the car.I start getting closer and he starts moving forwards so I think hmm maybe he just wants get back on. So I start slowing down (there's about200 yards between us) I start getting closer and closer and he's not speeding up and only going 30 now. So now I get closer and closer when he should be speeding up still going the same speed maybe only 35 now. I practically get right on top of him still waiting for him to speed up then all of the sudden he slams his brakes for no apparent reason. I'm about 15 feet at this point. I have pretty quick reflexes and slam on mine, steering goes alittle funky, but we bothstop nonetheless. He then just starts going again about his merry way and i'm like wtf?! Me feeling I have to get away from this lunatic asap guns it to get on the freeway and the guy gives me the one fingered salute.

Smells like insurance scam/car jacking to me. Watch out in dfw if you see something like this!

Oh man that reminds me of what happened to me yesterday morning. I was going to thedealership to see what was wrong with my TT, and Im going just a bit over the speed limit...all of a sudden this lady in an SUV decides to turn on to the main road from a neighborhood on the left side of the street...of course, she pulls out right infront of me, and there was no one behind me...like she couldnt wait or something. Then she turns right, right after she pulls out infront of me, and gave me the finger like I did something wrong...WTF is wrong with people???

yea, I get the finger a lot for no apparent reason.

I guess people don't like you when you're in your twenties, driving a TT,
and they either drive a POS or are old.
I had a guy flip me off in a new V6 Mustang Convertible, (poor guy i felt sorry for him)
I would guess he was around 40 years old.

people lose respect for others when they see something to be jealous about. it sucks.

I try not to let it get to me when stuff like that happens. Some kid in a TC cut me off & almost cause a accident with me because he was trying to take a turn onto rt32 from rt17 which not even I take that fast due to it being a 4/5 lane road & half the people don't pay attention to the lights. So I sped up rolled down my window got to him at the next light & yelled "wow that got you ****ing far. Maybe next time you'll take other peoples safety into mind when you fishtail." I couldn't understand the response I got back ("stfu homo" or something of that nature). Anyway later when I come back to my car on break someone key'd it. I hope I never see that guy again I'll break his windshield.

Damn that's terrible. We should change the name of this tread to "People who cut us off, and the reactions they give us". LMAO!!!

The TT's brakes have saved my *** a few times.

It really makes me think that people are safer in sporty cars as long as they are responsible and careful. You have a car that doesn't rollover easily, brakes far better than most other cars and can perform avoidance maneuvers a lot better than most other cars.

Their is a new insurance scam that started in chiacgo and is also in milwaukee now. Bums well hang out near bars and wait for some drunk guy to start driving. Then the bum walks directly into the car, making it look like the dude driving hit the bum. I almost had it happen to me three times already. Don't fall for this!!
