TT vs. C5
Based on looks, the TT.
Not many cars of modern day has had a big impact on the world with its styling (exotics excluded). The TT has. There hasn't been a GREAT looking vette since the Sting Ray. Yeah, thats right, 2 words.
Power wise, the vette. No replacement for displacement, unless you're ready to put in a bunch of time, money, sweat, tears, etc for a high strung motor, and it appears thats not what you're looking for.
Mods are probably cheaper for the domestic for what you are willing to do.
So,
I think you better buy a TT.

So,
my heart is pulling for the TT (but my brain is telling me that the C5 may be the smarter [buy]
So guess what guys, I was thinking about getting the Jeep Commander LE with the SRT-8 and i almost talked my wife into until, today when she asks me this," hey honey, how would you feel if we got a brand new camaro this spring when it comes out, and if we can't get it in spring then we will wait until your birthday and get an SS model if they have out by then" What?? Are you serious?? Wow now thats a hard decision, but i realy want the jeep because i want to ride big, but the camaros are to die for also. Im so confused, i want to talk her into getting the SRT-8 challenger but those are more expensive then the ss camaro, what should i do? She said she would trade her mustang in if we get the camaro but if i want the jeep then ill have to get it without her trade in and possibly trade my audi in if i needed to. This is realy gay, what should i do?
I like riding high too but would never trade in my car for it. Actually looked at an H1 yesterday and I was unpleastly surprised. With how huge those things are there is not very much leg room inside at all. Anyways, if she trades in her mustang she is going to be driving the ss all the time. Seems like you need to decide what you would rather be driving, your audi or the jeep.
well she wants a family vehicle, but she doesn't want the jeep lol. She is telling me that if we get the camaro, then she will trade her vehicle in to get it, but i will need to get a family car. so i can keep the audi and pay full price on the jeep or use my tt as the trade in on it. i want to keep my car cuz its paid off, but i want the jeep too. she said she wants to get a gay woman looking suv like the murano or a trailblazer if she gets an suv. So unless i compromise on the jeep, she will not get the SS.
choices:
Jeep Commander LE SRT-8~Stipulations: trade in Audi TT
SS Camaro~Stipulations: Trade in Audi TT and Mustang GT and buy a family car
my wife knows how to get me by the ***** man, if i don't trade my tt in for the jeep she will not get the SS Camaro.

"BIG TURBO, the only replacement for displacement!"

I dont have a c5 but I do have a 05 c6 and a 01 tt 225. I love both cars but for completley different reasons.
There is no other feeling like getting on the gas and going fast in a straight line in the corvette. The vettes do take corners well if you stay our of the gas. I have pulled .95g in mine but as soon as you get on it you will be spinning.
On the other hand the tt is quick but not overly fast and handles great. I have had it in the snow and dry pavement and have taken corners in it that the corvette would have never dreamed of.
So it is all about what you want to do in the car. Do you want to take it on the autocross track or do you want to go to the 1/4 mile. Both cars will be fun at both but each excel at their own.
