Default --Update--

Well its been a fun month went to pick my car up (841 mile drive) made it 80 miles out of the shop and the throw out bearing broke luckily after I had it towed back to the shop they replaced it free of charge (1552v2 rox!) and now after moving to GA and picking the car up again I'm enjoying a decently faster TT I dont have dyno numbers yet since I'm still hunting down the correct parts to replace the incorrect ones that arnold sold me I know alot of people recomend pagparts but after what I've been through with Arnold I would be about 500% more likely to drive my car into him then recomend anyone do buisness with him.

Anywayz Dyno numbers coming pending new MAF + possibly injectors

Also anyone within driving range of Sarasota FL needing work done on there car should definately go to 1552 they have been great through the entire process and spent countless hours trying to troubleshoot my car for free helping me discover the incorrect parts that are conflicting with the tune

care to share the incorrect parts? This forum is the only place i have seen anyone unhappy with him and thats basically you and Cody. His only grip i can think of was a delay in the dp which i think was still a work in process which 1552 did in house.

Also, where are the pics!!

Sorry for the delay in reply incorrect parts were the MAF sensor and Fuel injectors which is causing incorrect AF mixtures with the Tapp tune I discovered this by contacting Chris at Tapp. I also got the 93oct program instead of the 110 I requested. While these are all small issues the fact that Arnold does not respond to emails and phone calls make them annoying since I have to repurchase the correct parts from other sources.

In other news I spun a bearing so car is once again being rebuilt

You could of always sent him an IM on vortex (passatg60), ive always got ahold of him there withen 24 hours.

Sorry to hear about the bearing. You are the third person i have read about in the past couple months that spun a bearing shortly after being rebuilt. Hope you get everything worked out soon, sucks when the car is down

Yeah found out today that only one bearing went bad it was actually completly gone when I pulled the #1 rod cap off the crank has some very minor scaring not sure if I want to polish it out or go with a new crank also 1 rod might possibly be bad but it looks fine no scratches or discoloring on it
