Upgrading stereo - HD radio, iPod, sub woofers?
 

Hi everyone! I own a 2003 TT roadster and I really want to upgrade the audio system. First, I would like to replace the head unit with one that has HD Radio, in-head-unit CD player, iPod functions built in, and CD changer controls. Can anyone suggest a head unit that will work with this car? Second, I have a pair of 12" Nakamichi sub woofers from my previous car. I really really really miss the heart pumping bass. I would like to get those installed as well but space is a serious premium on this roadster. I know the factory sub is in the middle of the vehicle. How likely will a 12" sub fit in that same spot? Also, is there another area that's a good candidate for placing a second sub? Or am I just asking for way too much? Any ideas?

I hate to add on to the confusion but i also wanted to know if u change to an aftermarket head unit, will the display on the dash still show the The functions of the Radio, (station name, track title,) stuff like that.
