Anyone have major wheel vibration when using H&R 20mm wheel spacers? Iinstalled some on my car to give it a more aggressive stance and it fells like the car is going to vibrate off the road!

 

Bolts torqued? Hub centric rings installed?

 

Bolts are torqued properly. What are the hub centric rings? The spacers are the ones that fit on snuggly....not those cheaper universal disc ones. In case that makes a difference.

 

Take a look at this pic Notice the lip around the inner hole. That is the hubcentric ring that matches what you have on the stock hub. You then should also have a plastic spacer that fits in the backside of your wheel that would mate up over the top of the spacer ring.

I looked up a picture of thering you are talking about that goes between the spacer and the wheel.....I don't have them![>:][:@] I'm guessing the spacers are designed for stock wheels and you need theplasticringfor aftermarket wheels? I wonder if you can purchase the plastic ring??

Never mind Steve, I found them. They're called Spigot Rings. We use a 57.1 mm. I'm going to a local aftermarket wheel shop tomorrow!

 

I just installed 15mm's on mine and have the same problem, but its not too bad I do remember one of my wheels missing the plastic ring[:@]

 

so the spacers dont come with that plastic piece? so do you have to get special ones for aftermarket rims

 

Every set of aftermarket rims I've purchased have come with the rings. Since the size of the hubcentric ring is different on almost every vehicle, they are vehicle specific. For the most part they are interchangeable as well, that is, I have two sets of wheels and the rings fit both even though they are different manufacturers.

 

dont laugh but my konigs didnt come with them at least i dont think they did can i get them from the discounttire place where i got them? or do you think i have to order from konig?
