i think i accidently posted this question somewhere else. newbie mistake and it may have been aske d already but... how much should i expect to spend on brembo brakes and/calipers?

 

$1200-1400 for a kit depending on rotors and calipers. Wilwoods are $800-900 depending on rotors

 

Well, there is a company in S. Cali called 88 Rotars. They claim it to be Brembo. Though trust me it is not. They are cross drilled and all and do give a warranty if they should bend or crack. Only thing is that they are made in China and they drill the rotars themselves. It's inexpensive though.

If you just want cross drilled rotars.. There is an aftermarket one that is comparable to OEM rotar. Not made in China. THey are inexpensive aswell. If you are interested in those call Walnut Autoparts and ask for Rob.

 

Dont buy nonamed drilled rotors. The people drilling them dont do it the same way and have a large risk of cracking.

Check out TireRack... I checked and they are at $1516. I paid $1395 3 years ago for mine and I love them. Tons more stopping power than stock, especially with the Hawk HT-10's at the track.
