Why just a rear sway bar upgrade?

Why just a rear sway bar upgrade?
I've been reading posts on upgrading the suspension on the TT, and so far all I'm seeing is a recommendation to go with a thicker rear sway-bar. Why just the rear? Is there no benefit to upgrading both?

both would be great. but if you can only do one, the rear is the one to change. it helps get rid of the understeer and makes it more nuetral and if you get the larger dia. ones, you may even get some oversteer.

Also, replacing the front one is a *****'. Used almost all my tools, one and a half friends, and almost seven hours. You must separate the rack and pinion from the sub frame, then lower the sub frame. Couple brackets the Bentley doesn't tell you about. Added an hour to the task. 8 1/2 out of 10 for a well equipped home shop.
