Default windshield cleaning help

Does anybody have any good tips or anything on cleaning the inside of your windshield? I can't seem to get it clean without streaks or anything. I'll clean it and it looks good, then the next day I'll see streaks all over it, or there'll be some weird film and blotches. With the steep angle and curve it makes cleaning it difficult and awkward. Any recommendations on products or anything?

I'll clean it really well with windex, and then after go over it and almost buff it with something like a clean t-shirt. Like you noticed, there aways seems to be just a little bit of something left behind, and the shirt seems to clean it up pretty well.

Heard newspaper is the way to go. Use windex and the comic section, works best.

Just like achttung said, after it dries, go over it again with something dry to get the film off.

do you smoke in the car? because i have seen that on my personal window once in a while, it seems like cigarette resin that doesnt quite wipe off without really going to town on it. i've gotten it off but it takes some work. armor-all makes new "glass wipes" that seem to work really well. i also used those when there were greaseprints on the glass from getting the windshield replaced last month and it worked like a charm!

nicotine/tar will OWN your car in more ways than you'd imagine.
