I found the PERFECT place for it, it fits very snug in the ash tray compartment. I just used a little velcro to make it stay put and it was ready to go. And I must say this is not something I would have looked into buying anyime soon but wow its nice, I love it!!

Hm I thought about mounting my GPS in my ashtray or thereabouts but I realized...

1. Staring at your ashtray while driving is not entirely clever and
2. Ashtray is useful for mounting switches (turn boost gauge on/off, switch high/low boost)

..so I mounted it up top then hardwired my GPS charger and routed the cable for the charger up through the upper air vents. The charger's lead is ignition switched so it charges anytime I have the car on. Pic of my setup:
