Default **Lower Door Molding Install** Much Help would be Appreciated!

hey, the lower door molding [IMG][/IMG] on my a4 broke and fell off and all that is left is the clips that hold it on. Well i ordered that part and it came in yesterday. I just tried putting it on and i cannot figure out how to do it. The part with the screw hole makes no sense to me and seems to be getting in the way... can someone who has done this before give me some hints? Thanks.

The part with the screw goes toward the front of the car, on the inside of the door way up front in the corner there should be a screw. If yours fell off hopefully the screw is still there and the nut is probably still on it. To instal the new piece put it up to the door and put the part with the nut a few inches back from the front of the door then slide forward over the clips. It might be hard to push forward so you might need to use a mallet or a hammer with something inbetween the hammer and trim piece so you don't damage it.
