Does this one have the ICM delete? If not, just try moving the coil packs around, and if the misfire stays at cylinder 2 it's probably the ICM.

Links? In the meantime, i took the spark plugs out yesterday, put new NGK 7 heat gapped to 0.028 in. The old plugs looked ok, but found some oil on the boot on 3 of the 4. Will run a scan again after some driving. |
The benefits are great! Smoother idle, smoother powerband, in some cases better MPG and more power (due to larger plug gap), less wiring, fewer components to fail, and these coil packs are only about $20 each.
Do a Google search for "ICM delete" and everything that comes up will pertain to the AEB engine. I'm running a 0.040" gap on my BKR7E plugs, using 06H905115A coil packs. Bought them from http://genuineaudiparts.com/parts/in...&siteid=214407 Usually you'll need to use something like 034 Motorsports adapters to run 2.0T coil packs on AEB or 2.7T engines. These run about $20 each (four for AEB, 6 for 2.7T). |
