Default Question before purchasing an HID kit.

I have a 98 a4q 1.8T, I am planning on installing an HID conversion kit but have a question. Will the high beams and fog lights still be white?, I'm assuming at least the fog lights will be but will it look bad to have like the blueish hid color and the bland color of the fog and/or high beams.

You're only changing the low beams, so those are the only ones that'll change color. The halogens next to them don't look too good, but for two reasons this shouldn't matter:

1 - you should first (or at the same time) be replacing your stock lamps with projector headlamps

2 - who cares how the bulbs look next to each other, when this upgrade should primarily be done with functionality in mind rather than looks (see reason #1).

BTW shameless plug - order the HIDs from AF member Emilgevor. I installed one of his kits in an Accord coupe and it looks great, works flawlessly, and is legit for light output. Check them out at www.krautoparts.com.

To answer your question, it will look a little goofy seeing as the fogs and high beam are probably just standard halogen off yellowish white color. That against a clear white/bluish color, it may look off. I would buy some for the foglights also.

I've got a set from VVME that I'm looking to sell, 8000k 35watt's. Had them for a little over a year with no problems. Got tired of them though so I'm back to stock halogen. I also have a set of 3000k 35watts that were in my fog's also I'd be willing to get rid of, both for a good price.
