So I went to go and open my trunk today.....car is unlocked.....but when I push the latch....nothing happens and the latch just stays in and I am unable to open my trunk. I also tried to put the key in and it actually does not turn. Please let me know what this is. I would like to get into my trunk! THANKS EVERYONE!

 

happened to me too.

what you need to do is... open the backseats.. crawl in there.. and lift the lil plastic piece and it'll open the trunk... then.. take off the lock mechanism.. its only like 2 nuts or something.. then lube the hell out of it.. let it soak a sec.. push the button.. spray some more.. etc etc... shouldnt take more than 10 min.. you probably dont even need to remove the thing.. just soak it with lube once it's open

 

Try turning harder and try the opposite direction, it has a permenatly locked valet positon too, and make sure you are using the master key.
