Default 2.8 chipping??

I currently have an intake and exhaust, and thinking about chipping my 30v but want an honest answer. do you really notice a power increase on the 2.8s?

Yeah you do, in the midrange. I drove Hiwords' car with the SpeedTuning chip and the car drove both smoother and snottier in the midrange. Good bang for the buck - I'll be getting it soon.

I've driven a chipped 2.8 and it only felt slightly different. I would not say it's good bank for the buck. But it's all you got, so if you got the bucks then lay em down.

For $150 to get the midrange bump that the ST chip gives, it's definitely a good bang for the buck. Spending $500 or more for APR or Giac or one of the others for that same bump is not a good deal, but $150 for the difference in feel that ST gives the car, yeah, that's a no-brainer good deal.

for 150 i'd say it's not bad, but then again i can't compare the 2.8 chipped to 2.8 stock cause we bought it chipped.

i'll say this though - my dad's car chipped felt slower than my car unchipped.. just feels a lot heavier. the acceleration is smoother but that's not really... fun

send an email to speedtuning and ask if they have an audiforum special for your car. i got the stage 2 for.. 200 i think. AF special!
