Default 2.8 Quattro smoking, someone please help

Ok I bought a 2.8 Quattro about a month ago and was smoking from the driver side of the engine when i bought it. Was told that it was the valve cover gasket leaking and the oil hitting the header and smoking, so I replaced the gasket. It still soking for a little while so I took it to the pressure washer in my neighborhood and cleaned all of it out from under the car and down the sides, finally quit. Now about a couple days ago it started back and now im wondering what else could it be, did i just not tighten the valve cover down enough? whats the specs on the nuts? It seems to only do it when i hit a higher rev, like when i take off quick so I think its building to much pressure and shooting some oil out. What do you guys think. After im done with this there wont be any problems with the car so please someone help asap. Thanks

what year is the car?
On my 98, On the valve cover the bolts are supposed to be torqued to 10Nm.

ok i got up under the car today and seen alot of oil on the pan, but there isnt really much above the pan, so that leads me to believe that, that problem is the oil pan gasket. Then i took off all the plastic covering in the engine and seen a little oil drip line from the oil cap gasket and took it off and it had a been soaking in it and running down to the spark plug and running out of there onto the header, so im gonna try to replace thos 2 seals and see what i got then

I get a little oil leaking from the oil filler cap as well. I changed the 2 rubber seals and it helped some. I was told I need to check the breather hose to see if it is clogged, because ti could be the cause of the leaking oil. I wonder if you will have the same issue or not?

breather hoses can get very nasty. Its a good idea to replace them all, but you have to find them cheaper. The dealerships want 50-70 for each one.

Can someone take a picture of the engine bay and highlight all the breather hose that need to replace?
