Where do you live man? That just seems high, I searched with $6k limit on craigslist in Detroit and pulled upt a dozen or so a4's mostly with higher miles but if it is maintained I would buy a higher miles car way before a no records (no maintnenace) car with 50k miles.

Your miles are alot lower than mine though. I have a few small issues too so maybe after I fix those once it is warmer I will be closer t your $4,000. I just know if I pulled $6,000 out of my bank account to go buy a car I would be getting something with good records below 100k miles and 1999+. Maybe your limit is with financing but if you have cash that is how you can get prices down (especially right now) that is why I will only buy cars cash for myself from this day forward.

Same thing here, im 16, no need for me to finance things. Just too dangerous employment as hard as it as, especially for me.

I live in Northwest Ohio, theres nothin, limits within 100 miles of me. you hit cincinatti, but there is not much there, fort waynes got nothin. I just pray and pray for a private dealer that doesnt realize what he's got to sell his audi lol.

Yeah, its very hard to find anything under 100k for my circumstances.

Well goodluck man. I will actually be flying right past you tomorrow, I live in Bloomfield hills so I will eb going 275 from the suburbs of detroit to get to 75 and head to cincinnati.

Just keep your eyes open and don't jump into anything. I am 26 and an A4 is a hell of a lot nicer car than I had at 16 so make sure it is as nice as it can be for you.

Yeah, the more I read about it, the less i like the idea of fwd. Like, if im gonna get a fwd audi, why not just get a grand prix for less. I want an audi, quattro, not mention winters are sometimes bad in northern ohio.

Yeah, I've looked around ibgger cities close to me like cincinatti, fort wayne, and dayton. They do actually have a better selection of cars. i found a pretty nice 99 black 1.8t quattro for 4995. So its a start.

Thanks for the peace of mind guys!
