Question 30v injectors?

got a 98 2.8 an was wondering about injectors.. if injectors on a v6 would be worth the time and effort.. as well as the money.. i dont know much about the stock injectors in the car let alone aftermarket and whats good.. bad, ect.. i have seen alot of posts about 1.8t's with injector set ups but none about the 2.8l v6.. also i have looked at several websites including kerma tdi for injectors and all are for 1.8t engines.. any imput on this topic is appreciated.. thanks

As far as I know people don't run better injector set-ups on 2.8s because you don't need to. You can't seriously build a 2.8 and therefore don't need a better fuel system.

only reason to need bigger injectors is if you need more fuel

only reason to need more fuel is if you need to burn more air

you dont have forced induction, so dont worry about it

Ya bigger injectors will not help. Even if you had the best flowing intake on the car and stroked it out to say 3.0 or 3.2l it would probably still be just fine on the stock injectors. The problem is there is nobody that even makes a kit to do such a thing as that. The only reason a 2.8 would ever need more fuel is if it was forced induction and the only kit for that is 5k list price and comes w/ its own injectors. Adding fuel to the engine as is will only make it run rich. This will eat up your cats, foul your plugs, reduce gas mileage, and possibly even lose hp.
