Default 710 and 710n

so i was replacing my stock DV the 710 with a 710n, and i decided to test the springs and.i noticed i was able to push the 710 spring in farther than the 710n. Is this normal? I tested.my 710 and it didnt lose any compression, but when I put in my 710n my turbo got a little louder when I was driving. Is any of this normal?

Your OEM valve was probably weak from age/use. It's not uncommon to rediscover some lost boost when you change in a new DV, even without chipping it.

Ok thanks. I noticed it was pretty easy to push the spring in the 710 compared to the 710n. But is it normal that the original dv's spring is able to be pushed in further?
