ok so i have a 96 audi a4 b5 the remote key fell onto water and the battery was shot aswell as the bulb...now i just purchased a new battery and cleaned up the remote key from any residue. My question is do i need to buy that 1.5v 0.009w bulb in order for my key to fully work? the bulb part number under vw is 903 145 02.

 

That's not a remote, just a flashlight. The key will work without it.

 

Or you might just have to get used to it. Mine never worked anyway.
