Hi my Audi a4 wont rev past around 1500 rpm the shop I took it to told me it needed a new throttle body so I got a new one and replaced it myself the car is idling low and when I hit the gas the rpm go to 1500 then quick go back down to idle and if I hold the gas down it will just go up and down and sometimes stall if I rev the car with my hand from the throttle body as so as I start to rev I hear a faint sucking noise idk I think its prob just the intake but do you think it is a possible vacuum leak i just dont know what it would be and its running a little rough and low idle but if I bring up the rpms just a tiny bit it runs smooth at about 1000 rpms

 

Double check bolts on Tb.
Also try putting key in ignition and turning it to the on position ( don't start it though) the throttle body will buzz and click kinda thing. Now start the car.
Might need a throttle body adaptation

 

The throttle body will not adapt by it self, you have to do it with the scan tool... Have you scanned the car after the instal?

 

Where do I get a decent price on new TB and how do I do the adaption process after install?
