99.5/2000/2001 Symphony Radio Havers - read
Got my replacement radio today from ECS and was messing with the hidden EQ settings LINK
Jus FYI for those who don't know about it...
Adjust the bass, mid, and trebble, etc. ***** to middle and try these settings:
75678877 and then adjust your ***** to your liking..
Can't remember what the settings were on the broken radio, but I found it to make a big improvement. Of course anything is an improvement when you have had 0 music in your car for weeks. This should still work with a Symphony Bose radio, but you may want different eq settings. If you think you've come up with better sounding settings post it up.

Because I'm fine with the stock radio. I have a 10 inch sub and amp wired, too. It adds a little something. I'm not into attracting attention or anything with loud music in my car. The symphony radio is decent with mids and highs but suffers majorly with bass.
Thanks again for the tip on ECS having those radios.
