99 Audi A4 Starting Problems

Couldn't that just be bad coilpacks?
Your car would turn over I believe. The coilpacks wouldn't send the voltage down to jump across your spark plugs to ignite the A/F mixture; and, it's very unlikely that all four went kaput all at once.

Im calling my dealership tommorrow to see what they problem is. My guess its going to be a 500 dollar job perhaps more.

Don't call the stealership, call a local shop. They usually charge less for the same quality job.

ya its just i didnt want to leave my car in a parking lot over night. So i towed it to a gallery (its not really an audi dealership) and they just said they would look at it.

Should have checked the basic things to begin with; check the spark plugs to make sure they're gapped and not fouled, autozone can check the coilpacks to see if they are good, fuses, battery. Taking your car to an Audi dealership is just like bending over in the showers at prision, its a bad idea and its gonna hurt like hell. keep us updated on what it is

Turns out a the timing belt slipped off and now my engine is blown. All because the original owner forgot to put a single washer on after he replaced the timing belt.

They say I need a new engine I may just sell as is to them and get a 1.8T instead (i love turbos). Or an s4.
