Disassembling Sunroof Dial/Control
Hey all,
Trying to do some tune-up on my sunroof. Audi A4 2001 (B5). The dial turns fine, but it's not making good contact. Mechanically it's fine - it's not hopping off the guides or grinding or anything.
I wanted to take it apart to clean the contacts and maybe make a couple adjustments. This guide here has been very helpful, but they "stop" too early. I get to the dial "barrel" (lack of a better term), but I can't figure out how to disassemble it further, and I don't want to break it. Pictures here. How do I take this apart?

If you look at the parts inside, there is definitely a contact surface that's only visible in the 3rd picture. I already bent the other contact (visible in background of 2nd pic) up a bit (as per the guide).
But that's not where the trouble spot is - the tilt has always made a secure contact - it's the rest of it.
Thanks for the tip about the screws - I had just assumed they needed to be securely tightened.

Yeah, I bent my tabs at first and it still kept acting weird, so instead of taking it all apart again, I started paying with the amount of torque on the screws and finally dialed it in to where it works perfectly again.
