I live in SW michigan and have come accross a 96 A4 2.8 in a local junk yard.
Just giving any one a heads up on this, It has a manual trans. and you can buy it(the trans.) for $100.00. This is a U doit junk yard so the trans or any other parts, you have to remove yourself. If Anyone is interested I will supply futher info. BENG

 

96 so its a 12 valve. Do they have the same trans as a 30 valve? I need one bad but the lowest im finding them is for 800. How many miles?

 

wouldn't it prolly be the same trans, isn't the 30 valve the same but with a different head.(pause no homo).

 

nah pretty sure the engines are very different.
