Hi, I could really use some help here I was having problems with my my project 98.5 A4 2.8q not doing a TB adaptation with the battery disconnect trick, and was getting this code
17967 Throttle Valve Control part (j338): Fault in basic settings
P1559 - 35-00--
So yesterday I replaced the throttle body and tried again and still no luck, the car runs awfully. I have an ebay vag-com cable that I left down at school, but I wasn't able to do a TBA with the cable due to me not having the full program. If someone could help me figure out the way to get the full program (I know there's a way, I just couldn't figure it out) or help me figure out how to get the car to do a TBA I'd be very thankful. I've had this car sitting since july because of other projects and just want to get it going. - Nick

Try leaving the key on the on position (not started), for three minutes and try again. Then try doing a TBA with a VAGCOM. Im not sure what you meant by the battery disconnect trick, disconnecting the battery would make it forget its alignment.
