Default ABS Modual or speed sensor?

So i've been having the ABS light on with the flashing brake light while driving.....from what I've read that means "bad modual". Over the weekend I noticed one of the cables was previously re-attached and was coming apart. So i restripped the wires and recreated the connections.

The flashing brake light is now off. question is.....is the modual still bad or should i check the cables first?

Scan the chassis/ABS modules in vagcom and clear all the codes. Troubleshoot any that come back afterward.

Your problem was because of the cable, if the lights don't come up anymore than the ABS Module is fine for sure.

...the flashing brake light is off, but the ABS light is still on. Hopefully be able to get it scanned at the end of the day today.
