Default acceleration problem II

Hiyas, Im running a 99.5, giac with the 710n and full exhaust and ive been have a reoccuring acceleration problem. For a while everything was fine and dandy until day when id try to give her gas the car would start to studder past 5-8psi. I put new plugs in and boom and the problem magically dissappear, but now it seems to have magically reappeared. Have a check engine light rocking too.

Thanks for help / suggestions

since you have a pre-face lift ecu you might not be able to find out some codes like you would with the 00 and up cars...i just had a huge ecu problem and i had stuttering worse than any i have ever seen so just in case your diagnostics comes up clear look further into it and try flashing it back to stock then back to giac...

definately get a scan. not to be mean but its kinda useless to tell us you got a mil on and not tell us which codes where retrieved. your pretty much leading us on. with that said, i would be willing to bet its a problem with the ignition. i would even go so far as to guess your code(s) that is retrieved will be p030x indicating a misfire on an random cylinder. with what you have given, my guess would be a coil pack, but you gotta supply the codes.
