Alarm problem

Ok 96 a4 b5. Started a few days ago my car would lock itself and arm the alarm. This morning dead battery it's a brand new battery. Say I just drive it as soon as I shut car off and pull key out of ignition car will lock itself and arm the alarm with me still in it. Don't have access to vagcom and not taking it to the dealership.

Welp, if your not willing to get a vagcom or get it scanned at the dealer, then you might as well replace the central locking module. This is the most common failure, especially if water has gotten into it.

Central locking module is a good starting point as well as I beliebe there is an updated ignition switch for reasolution of some of your concerns.

Already has updated ignition switch and think it might be the pump the sunroof drain was clogged and was all wet in there I took it out and let it dry out it seems alittle better but occasionally does it still I can hear it constantly cycling while I'm in the car should I just replace it
