are all 96-00 a4 quattro springs the same

are all 96-00 a4 quattro springs the same. just wondering cause i want to put lowering springs on my 96 2.8 a4 but can find 1.8t lowering springs for cheaper. wondering if it will work.

Yes, with a creavat: The 2.8 engine is heavier than the 1.8T, and the front will drop lower than expected if you put the heavier weight on the lighter springs. Not a bad thing, unless you don't like that look.
