during my parts running I did stop in at a Firestone and noticed the lifetime alignment deal. Hell at $20 more, should be worth it eh? I might have to cancel that appointment.

just got off the phone with firestone.....

Firestone: does the car have Quattro?
Me: Yes.
Firestone: Does your car have laser guided cruise control?
Me: It's a 1996, I doubt it.
Firestone: Make sure.....click.

First off, at $149, for a lifetime alignment, pretty sweet.
Secondly, WHAT A DICK!!!

are you serious? this guy must be retarded, there's not a single 96 audi with laser guided CC. you should call a different firestone. i wouldn't trust a shop with a dick answering phones, and the guys who answers the phone is usually the manager so eff that shop.

Still looks like a truck Congratulations with the new stuff. It looks good but you should do something about those taillights and side markers.

^I admit it would be killer to tuck 16's.... love your set-up man. I quite like the amber markers and rear lights....... maybe I'll change 'em out later on down the road.

I forgot to ask before, had to turn the wheels while working on the car and had the ABS sensor in the knuckle out, so now I have the ABS and Brake light on always. Can any mechanic reset this or do I have to swing by the dealer?

a vag com can take care of it. the code readers at autozone won't be able to do it. it won't affect anything unless you damaged the sensor. i'm sure there's somebody in NJ with a vag com or you can visit me in binghamton and i can take care of it for ya and add remote windows for you too lol. road trip FTW!!!

When you call Firestone, ask them if they perform a raised-toe procedure and if they can adjust the front camber. They might say, there is no front camber adjustment and they've never heard of raised-toe adjustment. In which case, just go to Audi. $150 bucks to get it done right at a dealer is a good deal. Just ask for a before and after printout before you hand over the keys. Don't waste your time with Firestone, Town Fair, Sears, or Monroe.
