Default Another clutch thread, don't kill me

So I know there is a lot of other clutch replacement threads but I want personal opinions for my car. It's an Audi a4 1.8T Quattro Chipped and some
Other stuff done to it (look in signature). Anyways it needs a clutch, it's slipping and it's getting bad enough it's hard to drive normally. Keeping in mind I'm a broke teenager, that doesn't have much money to spend at all I need the most reliable clutch that works well with my application (about 250 hp, more to come but mostly city driving) without killing me. I'm really looking under $500 lower is better, but I need a good Reliable clutch that can handle my car

A good clutch set up that can handle that kinda power is going to be tough to find, but I would suggest the ECS RA4 conversion or the Valeo single mass kit. Replacing the OEM flywheel is going to cost a small fortune.

Your making 250 on stage 2? Also, for a good clutch its going to cost more than $500. Where are you located?

What about this single mass valeo?
Valeo Clutch

And I know $500 is low, but I'm 16 and completely broke

I'm curious what your stage 2 tune is, can you elaborate?

Can we move away from nt cars mods, that being said it is Total Audi Performance stage 2 tuning, with the chip, exhaust and air filter. Stock it runs about ~180 hp, If you add the expected hp increases up you get 290 but I doubt it's that high so I just say 250 as a good guesstimate

A better measurment for the clutch you want to use would be tq. That Ra4 kit CC posted is a great deal because it includes the alignment tool and a new flywheel and all the bolts. Are you plannign labor yourself? I dont think you should but if your on the east coast I can help you out.

Stock our engine is 150hp (only 2001 1.8T engines had the stock capability for 180hp). And I hate to say it, but unless you're pushing more than 20psi chances are you won't have more than 220hp at the crank, assuming you have a higher flowing exhaust from the turbo-back (air filter won't add much, if any).

For a clutch you'll want to keep your future power goals in sight. Do you eventually plan to upgrade the stock turbo and go BT or something else, or are you planning to stay with a K03?

My car should be pushing somewhere around 270 ft-lbs at the wheels by the time my tune is tweaked (should be 250-260ish right now) and I've got the Valeo single mass clutch kit. If I were to do it over the RA4 would be my top choice since it uses S4-type clutches. The Valeo kit can only use the Valeo clutch... don't get me wrong, it works, but future upgrade-ability with this flywheel is zero.
