i have a 99 1.8t and it doesent have leather or a sunroof. i kinda feel like i got the shaft. i never seen an audi without leather before. anybody else lacking these stereotypical audi features? oh yeah it dident come with a cd changer either just a tape deck lol

 

Base A4's came with the sunroof. You could have it deleted as a factory option. 1.8T's didn't have leather, they had leatherette. The leather was on the 2.8

 

oh well i dont even have that leatherette stuff i have cloth. unless thats what that is? i dono but i wish i had leather and a sunroof.

 

i would rather have no sunroof. less weight and lower center of gravity. but that sucks on the cloth seats

This was floating around on e-bay a while back. It was actually quitefunnyto read the Q&A's that were posted along with the auction. If you dig around enough on here, i'm sure you'll find the post about it.

You probably have those cloth S4like sports seat no? The no sunroof was a factory option. The upside is your car is probably ways 75-100lbs lighter. You can always change them with leather or S4 seats.

 

I love my sunroof, couldn't imagine not having it

 

In 2001 the moonroof came with the premium package.
I aslo have cloth seats.
