Atw engine divertor valve
I did my timing belt today but in the process a vaccum line came off, and after spending some time looking it over the little vacuum line is suppose to I think go to the Dv and up to intake but the line is all jacked up. Does it hurt the car with that all messed up? I put it back where I think it goes but, kinda scared to drive it?

It's a vacuum line - if it's messed up or installed incorrectly your car won't run too well. It wouldn't be too hard to inspect it and replace it with vacuum hose from an auto parts store if your line is damaged.

Sorry, I had to laugh because you did a timing belt job (not for the non-mechanically inclined) and your asking what a vacuum line is. I have an ATW motor too and the line to the DV goes to a little metal box under the IM (n249 i believe it's called). I think the car goes into limp mode when this line is disconnected.

Sorry had to laugh a little your car looks exactly like mine except with the vents in the bumper cover.. Na I didn't ask what a vacuum line is, I asked with the ends of the vacuum line spread apart since it has been on there since new, if no vacuum is getting to dv what would the car do. Had to come to work right after doing the timing belt so I had to drive the car with the vacuum line off and not a 100% sure where to hook it back into the intake. Got it fixed today though bought a new line simple fix.

Cool. Eventually, you'd get a CEL but you really wouldn't hurt anything.
