Default ATW head bolt tool?

Im new to audi's and am in the process of replacing the head on my 1.8t. All I can find on the Polydrive tool is the name of it. Is there specs or something so I can find one that isn't 20 bucks?

Or where have you guys had luck ordering or buying it from? If I could buy it at a local parts store that would be ideal, but whatever works.

20 bucks isn't bad by any means, but if someone had some luck with a 12 dollar one from somewhere, that info would help.

Thanks guys.

the VAG specification is T10070. Don't recall ever seeing what that equates to in a "measurement" Have you checked ebay?

Default my limited experience

Keeping in mind that I'm a 12v 2.8

I encountered both Poly Drive and Triple Square sockets

Try searching Ecstuning.com for it and then see if you can find it cheaper, closer, easier..etc

I ended up ordering both tools and found them later at my local advance auto

Good luck

Thanks guys, Ill check Oriley Auto when I get off work. Maybe they will have what I need. Id like to take a stab at removing the head this weekend (everything is unhooked). But If I need to order the tool no big deal I guess.
