Default Audi a4 1997 headlight replacement

Can I replace my 2 piece headlight assembly on my Audi a4 1997 2.8Q with a single piece headlight from a 1998-2002 model or may be from a B6 model? I saw a nice headlight in a junkyard and so wanted to know if it would fit mine.

Thank you

I've actually seen someone do this. You'll have to trim stuff to make them fit but it's possible (I guess almost anything's possible though..)
You should be able to buy one used from classifieds cheap and easily though since many people upgrade theirs and nobody wants those two pieces. Or you can buy my halo's

You could just go with the two piece lights from Depo. A good example is Mr. Flippants pic on the previous post. I have the exact same ones and I get compliments on them all the time. I am running 100 watt 5900K HIDS for the headlights and 100w H3 foglight bulbs. It looks awesome and I can see for about 1/2 mile with the brights on. I found the set on Ebay with the Euro clear corners for around $150-180.

Thank you everyone,

I'm planning on visiting this junkyard on monday and grab those headlights, and tail lights. they are not from B6 so from what I read here, they should fit mine.
Sometimes i feel if its even worth spending money on cosmetic changes for a 97 model, throw in your views on this if you want.
