Default Audi A4 Avant Parcel Shelf/Boot Cover Problem

Hi,

I took out the parcel shelf/boot cover of my '98 Audi A4 Avant today but I accidentally dropped it, causing the end cap with the release button come off. It seems a relatively simple mechanism to fix but I don't have a clue how it should all fit back together... has anyone done this before?

I have 3 parts: the button, a bar with a small spring attached to it, and the end cap itself.

On one end of the boot cover/parcel shelf there's a 'cap' with a release button so you can remove it. When I dropped it the end with the button came off with all the parts loose inside.

Ahhhh I see now. I'm not sure how that thing works to be honest. Did see that a new one is like $800 lol
