Default Avant Bose Speakers Parts Number

After reading in several posts that I can get replacement speakers for my Avant for $40 each, I called bose.

Ironically, they asked me for the part number! Since I don't have a garage I am going to have an audio shop install them for me, so I can't really rip into my car to get the speaker numbers.

I did call Audi and they told me their part numbers, but I am guessing Bose wants the Bose part numbers, not those of Audi. I was told that the Audi part numbers are:

Front Driver Door - 8d0035411c
Front Passenger Door - 8d0035412b
Both Rear Doors - 8d9035412c

Does anybody have the actual bose part numbers? I have scoured the web to find this information, but everyone seems to just reference he Audi part number, and Audi couldn't give me the cross referenced numbers either.

I believe that for the regular Audi A4 B5 that is not the Avant model, the front speaker numbers are

109638

However, I cannot find the rear speaker numbers for the Avant since they appear to be different than for the regular sedan.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Incidentally, I've got my front door speakers on my kitchen table as I type this. They're out waiting for aftermarket replacements because they're both blown.

Those are the only part numbers I could find. I'll have the rear door speakers out sometime this week as well if you'd like me to snap some more pics?

Yes, please do take some pics of those as well when you take them out. I have to await the word on my Audi anyway after the shop looks at it.

For some inexplicable reason I'm losing antifreeze but pressure testing they've done shows no problems, there is (thank goodness) no white smoke or milky oil or oily antifreeze. However, I have been losing antifreeze, and my heater system is all messed up. It's just barely freezing temps in the morning, and already the heater is struggling to put out any heat. I had the shop change out my radiator recently and I'm thinking they may have clogged up my heater core in the process.

Anyway, back to the speakers.

So being German, I can translate the stickers on the speakers:

Kunden Nr. = Client Number. This would be the same as the Audi part number that I was given.
Not Sure what the R & S Number is.
Bezeichnung = Designation And yes, rechts = right, and links = left.

So I just did a search on these numbers and found a great post here:
quattroworld.com Forums: Summary of oem factory Bose speaker part numbers, and other pics

Looking at your pictures, it looks as though the actual bose part number for ordering is located underneath the green sticker. I can just see 1493.. on the first picture which would jive with the 149333 number given @ quatroworld. So that only leaves the question of what the Bose Part number is for the rear door speakers.

BTW, that phone number to reach Patti directly is still: 508-766-9522

I'm revisiting my speaker replacement project. I had my mechanic take out the rear door speaker in my 2001 A4 B5 Avant. As the pictures show, the Bose Part # for ordering the rear door speakers is 191523.

BTW, I know that frequently the cones separating is the problem with these speakers. Not so in my case. It almost looks like the speaker paper became wet and subsequently warped and became wavy when it dried again. Not sure if the Central Alaskan arctic conditions could account for that just from condensation, but it's something to keep in mind. I know the previous owner kept the car in a heated garage, so conceivably going from -50 to +60 could result in enough condensation to result in warping?

As a result of this warping, the speaker coil doesn't glide freely in the magnet hole, but scrapes very harshly against it. No wonder my speaker sounded so awful!
