right at the trunk entry where it slopes down in the front, slide your fingers between the metal and the rear shelf card. I think theres two "tabs"? Then pull it to you, it will see like its going to break but it wont.

The shelf and metal is flush and sealed with a black thing, there are several holes in the metal a little past the shelf but there are no tabs in it

Jones is right. You need to lift up on the edge of the shelf part where it meets the metal. There are 3 plastic clips holding it in place. Then lift it over the rear seat bolsters. Finally pull it toward the front of the car. It's not that bad.

I've tried pulling up and pulling out to no luck

pop the tabs first. they are tight, dotn worry you wont break it

Ok I'm scared I'm going to break them because they are so tight but I'll try it. Only 1 bulb is burned out but I bought 4 replacements so I never have to do this again

An hour and two broken clips later I figured it out, I had to pry where the drop of was up because it hadn't been taken off in so long it was stuck, then there was two clips and it just pulled out, thanks for the help guys!
