All all the years the same for the b5 bumper, for example, will a a4 96 bumpers fit onto a 2000 & vice versa? Thanks

 

I think so, minus if you use an pre-facelift bumper, you will have to trim a little bit of the fender to fit the one piece headlights, but other than that I think they are basically the same.



EDIT: I guess I was mildly retarded when I typed this the bumper has nothing to do with the fender, continue on and ignore me for now.

 

watch out if you get a bumper without the washer holes. (assuming yours has the washer holes). Not only if there no room for the washers but the plastic molding holding on the crash bar AND the crash bar are both diffrent and it will not work. I did this, but i ended up just switching out my old crash bar with the one off the washerless cover.

 

yep there all the same you can also swap over a S4 bumper (not a real RS4 bumper though since its too wide) as long as its OEM it'll have the washer covers and shouldnt have any fitment issues.
