yep well i mean there's medal behind those plastic peices and it rust's really bad... so when i went to take mine off i literally pulled and they came off so easily, i was like wtf are you kidding me the new ones i bought from ecstunning $150 oem and they seem really nice even smelt like brand new freaking rubber i love that smell!

those are OEM audi cross bars...actually got them fairly cheap at the stealership...I looked for them used online and aftermarket, but my local dealer gave me straightup deal...$198..bout $220 total....i know..that's a lot more than other bars, but the oem look sexy..

i like it but i think either the front needs to be lower or raise the rear end a tad bit. i'm only lowered on HnR race springs with stock struts and the ride is ok i guess. the springs are just a tad too stiff but the steering response is like night and day. you should hit up the forums first next time because there's should be tons of clowns who would love to help you out with the install.

yea...that's the plan..after 500 miles or so, I get my alignment checked and I'm gonna have him raise the whole car a little, but raise the back more..

they clamp on just like the thule...actually they made by thule....the clamp goes between the roof and the upper door frame...the door shuts over the top of it no issues...I'll take a close up pic tomorrow and post it.
