Default B5 S4 Seat Swap?

Do B5 S4 seats bolt right into a B5 A4? I've searched but seen conflicting posts. And with S4 seats being power adjustable and my 1.8 sport seats being manually adjustable, would there be any wiring issues or do the harnesses match right up? TIA.

you would have to just wire up the power wires to the ignition post under the kneebolster, the yellow post. as for bolting right up, i think you either need a bracket or drill new mounting holes into the floorboard

Yeah you gotta make a mounting point for the front of the seat on the floorboard. You'd want to be damn sure you do it right so it would hold up in an accident. Youd at least have to weld into the floor board.

Agreed, and for the price of a used complete set of B5 S4 seats, you can probably get one B6 Recaro headrest...

OK, well it sounds like a lot more work than it's worth. I think I'll just find a way to repair that tear in my current seat's bolster. Lots cheaper too, I'm sure.

Thanks for all the replies.
