b5problems at full boost
 

I have an 1999 audi a4. It is the 1.8tqm. Within the past month my car has been acting up. my car idles fine and runs normal until under full boost.as i was driving the other day. i would take the rpms up to 5500 through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear only boosting 7psi and everything ran fine. as soon as i do full throttle boosting about 17-19 psi the car cuts out. i have a cel because of cat delete pipe. not i get no cel when this misfire or fuel cut occures. i plugged in my friends obd2 into my car to see if anything would pop up during this cutting out at full throttle. still no cel but the computer read multiple misfire. i changed my spark plugs but they are gapped at .032. i also heard that when the coil pack are going out this can occure but usually only one or two go out at a time not all four. just changed my fuel filter too and the problem is still occuring. replaced vacuum lines going from turbo to n75 and from manifold to dv. i found that this starts to happen right past about 11 or 12 psi. anybody have any ideas of what it could be????? i would love any help i can get. Btw i have 170xxx.

what spark plugs are you running? id start by making the gap smaller, around .025. if the problem goes away, regap to .028

^^^ this. Chipped boost requires you to gap down the plugs. .032" is for stock boost.

i just gaped my plugs to .028 today and still the same multiple misfire going on. just not as much.
