I just bought a badgeless grill from ecstuning.com. It says you need to move your hood latch. Is there a writeup or anyone that knows a good way to do this?

 

Open up your hood and check out the back part of the grille.

There should be couple of pins/clips that are holding the grille in place. Basically take a screw driver or use your own strength to unclip/unhook those little plastics.

 

There are just no instructions that came with the grille? What grille is it?

 

part number ES#9596 on ecstuning.com it says i have to modify the hood release to make it work

 

I thought you were talking about the Kamei badge-less but you have the FK badge-less grille.

Anyway, I have no idea how to install this particular one but like mentioned, there should be an instruction that came with the grille.

Maybe someone with experience with the FK can fill you in on this.

 

The first aftermarket grill I had on my car was from FK, and you have to basically bend the latch so its pointing down. When you pop the hood, you still can reach it by putting your fingers under the lower edge of the hood.
