Yea man I used a bigger bag though, if you use one
of the small ones it won't fit and it will rip.

Just cut a little at a time off the bottom and keep trying till it fits, but like don't cut it by looking at mine i cut mine like 4 inches under the crown royal and it fit great.

 

Sorry to hi-jack, but where did you obtain the metal facia for the dash and gear shift surround? I need something to freshen up my '01.

 

i met a guy that worked at a welding shop and i asked him
" hey can you make custom .."stuff" out of metal maybe car trim pieces?"

he was like yea just tell me what kind of metal you prefer and give me what you want duplicated.
so i had to drive around with the trim piece around my radio and my shift boot missing for about a week =[ a little embarassing but was worth it!
the piece around my radio and climate control is actually like brushed titanium?? =]=]=]. but the metal piece aroud for shifter didnt quite fit so i found a place that did cusom fab and had a plastic piece made with 2 spots for 52mm guages. and they said they could paint it to match the other piece and look like metal so another week i went with out that while they kept it to match the paint.
