Blue tinted mirrors..

The brown **** around the edges? Any way I can get that off there?

huh? post a picture... mine are blue but they're all the way blue...? do you think your heated mirror elements fried the coating or something?

Thats weird, is it still reflective in that area? It kinda looks like a layer inside or below the glass... If its on the surface of the mirror maybe a strong solvent would get it off, but you might wanna be careful with that.. I think when i was browsing ECS this morning i saw replacement glass for the mirror assemblies.

Oh sweet, I didn't know if the glass came out or if you had to replace the whole mirror, it doesn't effect anything, just looks tacky[:@]

It has to do with the electric defoggers in the mirrors. VW/Audi have been known for years to have this happen, and the only solution is to replace the glass.

ya, my drivers side decided to do the same thing after being frozen over at the x games this year. does look tacky

common problem, you have to replace the glass
