Default Boost gauge?

Quick easy question, When installing the boost gauge do I tap into the line going from the dv to the intake manifold. If not which one is it.

you can or you can tap into the line on the opposite side of the manifold, close to the firewall. which is easier

What is the correct VAC reading supposed to be? I've heard of 20 but some say anything up to 15...

Just finished installing it today, Im getting 20 for the vac reading and between 5 to 8 pounds of boost. This sound right for not being chipped.

It's just that I'm at 15 vac and I can't find out for the life of me if I have a leak anywhere...anyone else? Thank you, btw
