Default Bose Speaker Frame/Bracket

Today I cracked my front passenger speaker bracket/frame thinking it pops rite off; unfortunately I just found out that your have to take the door panel of to get to the speaker. Does anyone know where I can find and purchase a new one besides the dealer? PLEASE HELP!!

Try a junk/salvage yard. They've always got spare parts laying around. Maybe look in the classifieds in the forum. Look in the classifieds around your area for someone parting their car out also.

How severe is the break? If you only broke off the little plastic melts that attach the grill, you can always remove the door panel and try your luck with glue.

The problem with trying to get a replacement from a salvage yard is that since it is not a removable piece (as you have learned), they will not be able to sell you just the grill. You'd be looking at a whole new door panel replacement.

You can buy a new speaker grille from the dealer, you just have to melt them on with a heat gun or a small torch. To get the old one out pull off the door panel, and drill out the old mounting points.

I actually cracked the bracket, with two small pieces left on the door pannel. There are two pieces that are actully still left hangin on the door which when I line the bracket up to the door again, you can barely notice it if it was crazy glued together.

What if i wanted to get new spearkers and new brackets for the front speakers? Can i use the brackets that come with the new speakers or do i not have a choice but to use the ones that are attached to the door pannels?
