Are you trying to say that you have a maf-less tune?

You might realize this with more research, but the bang for the buck with a k04 is lacking. If you have the money for a new (genuine, not ebay made in china k04 knock-offs- they are ****) then you might as well save a little more and get a real turbo upgrade- at least eliminator series.

But if you have an automatic, stick with the k03 or k04 at most.

crank or wheel, if you want 250awhp then an elim kit is what you want to get

with all my mods i am probably right at 280.... i will dyno my car eventually but with what i have beat in races that is where i am going to go

Nothing wrong with running an Elim kit on a Tip/Automatic car. The elim has a softer tq curve vs the K03/K04 and it is the tq curve that puts more stress on the tq coverter not as much as how much tq the car is making.

As for running a K04 with a K03 tune, pointless since it is only going to make a little more power then if it was a K03. Instead of buying a real BW K04, might want to look at buying a RP K04 and spending the difference going with a K04 tune for a 5 bar fpr or larger injectors and 3 bar fpr.

I can deal with lower torque since most cars here are rice honda's and nissan's. and i already beat them except the newer SI's

I get that the k04 is a tq machine (or tq curve machine...) and tq is what can be a trans killer... Good point for sure. I'm just saying that I have read too many threads on other boards where people kill their auto trans with a turbo upgrade. I'm saying in general, more tq=more hp right? A turbo that can bring you to 300+hp (eliminator, etc.) is going to have enough torque, wether it's an aggressive curve or not, to make your slosh box quiver a little. No?

Well I hate to burst your bubble, but any model of the makers you mentioned there are going to give a stock 1.8t a run for it's money, unless it's a Nissan leaf or Honda Insight. Dont forget that you have only 150hp (170 if 01) in a heavy awd car.
