Default Brake light Problem and corner light

Hey guys, i have a 2000 A4 B5 and i have a problem. My problem is that when i brake the car beeps at me and tells me i have a brake light out and when i have my head lights on my brake lights and my 3rd brake light are lit up like im braking hard even though my foot isnt on the pedal. I have replace all brake lights and head lights and still not fix. the odd thing that really gets me is that when i brake the left front orange corner light lights up like its a brake light. Any one ever heard of this or have any ideas? thanks for your time.

Did you put DUAL filament bulbs in? If you put a single filament bulb in a dual slot you will short the circuit together causing some of the brake lights to stay on at all times, and ramdom other crap.
You may also want to pull the panels the bulbs sit in to make sure the tabs aren't bent in anyway.

I know this thread is from a while back, but I'm having the same problem! If the panels the bulbs sit on are bent down what should I do? I tried pulling them up but that didn't work

What is your problem exactly? That the brake lights are on at all times? The tabs refuse to bend back up? Do you have the correct bulbs installed?
