Brakes

so i went to go drive my car today, after sitting over night. I back down the driveway and there is no brakes, so i drive back up and look... all of the fluid is gone, so i put more in to the appropriate level. I try pumping them a little and nothing, no fluid is being moved through. when it does brake the pedal goes all the way to the floor and the front left tire slips a little. any advice on what to do?

sounds like you could have a massive break in a line somewhere. got any body that wants you dead?

i was hoping not but its always possible. so i should trace the lines back and see where it is?

well since your obviously loosing fluid somewhere put some in the res and pump the brakes while parked on the street (unless you dont care if a bunch of brake fluid is on your garage floor). check out the area right above that spot. if you dont see any fluid after a while, it prolly pooling up somewhere on the chassis.

i cant tell because it was outside and it rained, so i wont be able to tell

i brought it inside and looked at it and pumped the brakes, and when i pump them i get pressure for about 20 seconds, might i just need to bleed the brake lines?

so i let it sit and was able to get pressure when i press the pedal, but the brakes are just not engaging, might it be somethign to do with the calipers?
